ABOUT US

OUR MISSION
We believe Africa has been blessed to be a blessing. So as a church, we're (re)sourcing a new generation of mission and missionaries from Uganda, the source of the Nile, sharing the fullness of the River of Life among least-reached peoples in our city and across the globe. For God's glory, for our good, and for blessing of the nations.
OUR VISION
Ezekiel 47:9 “Where the river flows everything will live.” We long to see our church, Uganda, and Africa fully submersed in God's River of Life, flowing from the throne to the nations, bringing blessing and life wherever the river flows.

WHAT MAKES US, US
DISCIPLESHIP DRIVEN
We create opportunities to grow faith in each other: home groups, mission discipleship classes, Y.E.S. for young people, The Well for children, and Q-and-A sessions after sermons.
GROWING
LEADERS
We grow and multiply kingdom leaders in our church, rather than focussing on growing our kingdom or multiplying our church.
BRINGING THE WORD TO LIFE
We love clear Biblical teaching, including Bible memorization, panel discussions, and open Q-and-A sessions, bringing the Gospel of Jesus from Sunday into our everyday.
INTERNATIONAL AND AFRICAN
We are a community of believers from around the world who call Kampala home. We love Africa & believe that God has great things in store for Uganda.
MISSION FOCUSSED
We disciple our members and network with others for a mission movement from Uganda, and we give 20% of our income for the same goal.
KEEPING THE GOSPEL & CHURCH UNITY
We honour Jesus' prayer for church unity by learning from global Christian traditions while standing firm on our shared foundation: the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
As an evangelical church committed to God's global mission, we affirm historic Christian beliefs in the Apostles and Nicene Creeds, and embrace the Lausanne Covenant.

TOPIC SUNDAYS

Wondering about something? Not sure what the Bible says or a Christian should think about it? Put your question or thoughts in our “suggested topics” box! Through panels of experts, discussions, visiting speakers, group Bible studies, and even videos, we look into the Bible to see what God has to say about the topic.
BIBLICAL
FEASTS

While we live under Christ’s grace and are free from the law, we find joy in remembering God's works by celebrating the Lord's Supper and some biblical feasts! We do not keep a strict Christian calendar or religiously keep the Old Testament feasts, because we live under the grace and freedom of Christ and have been set free from the law (Romans 7.4-6). But David also writes that “I remember the days of old; I meditate on all that you have done” (Psalm 143.5). Along with David, we enjoy remembering all the God has done for us by celebrating the Lord’s Supper and celebrating our Lord through some of the feasts in the Bible:

BIBLE
MEMORY
We love to find creative ways to cement God’s word in our hearts, with Bible-memory games, puzzles, and tournaments to award our “Golden Bible” trophy to the winning team
